25 - Surprise <Spoilers>

The surprise is.....we will be doing away with our sister site XBOX360news and will become a a site dedicated to PS3! There will be some smaller sections for the xbox, but the main focus will be PS3.
The primary topics we will launching with are as follows:
1. How to save enough money for a PS3 (Lie, Cheat, and Steal)
2. What to do when you are unable to purchase a PS3 at launch
<...
I think it can be attributed to the more proactive 360 fans compared to the PS3 ones (PS3 fans - not all of them though)- seem to stay only on the PS3 part whereas I think 360 fans browse both sections of this site.
Joe, I saw in your profile that you live in North America. It is my understanding from the article that the price is only to change in Japan where the price was left as "open" at E3. For us gamers in the US and Canada, the price is still going to be the same.
First of all, let me say that this site is great, and that on behalf of all the readers, I would like to say thank you for all the time and effort you and your programmer have put into the site.
1. Onto business. #6 is right in that sometimes, when I hit reply to a person, it gets put as the reply to the last person of the thread, not necessarily under the person of whom you hit "reply."
2. When I leave the site and return, I have to sign in again despite...
15.8 was supposed to be 6.1. I don't know why I can't edit it and it was posted under number 15.
Notice what type of news this is filed under:
"PlayStation 3 | Rumors"
That's right, "RUMORS." Now I am not saying that this is untrue, I am just saying that this is not fact. Also, it has been known that the Inquirer has a bias against Sony and many of the things that it posts have been proven untrue in the past. When someone gives me another source, then I might believe it.
The system had such promise. Now that the next gen systems are out and coming around, if this console does indeed launch, it will be overshadowed by a lot.
I loved my DC so much and I am so mad that it went under...I've always had huge loyalty to Sega starting with the Master System and especially the Genesis. Anyway, Sega only had $100,000 to market the system. 100 grand. That's like a buck to its competitors and it had no chance. You are completely right in that it was finances. Sega was unable to get the proper advertising and game developers on its side. Poor Sega. Poor Shenmue. I think I'll go fire up that baby one more time now... ...
Does anyone know if this game will be an exact port to the PS2 from the PSP or if they will change the graphics around to be better for the PS2? As a Gamespot Total Access member, I still have found nothing - Gamespot doesn't even know. Thanks!
This story reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George tries to get fired by doing such things a streaking in a body suit at a Yankees game and driving around with the Conference trophy attached to the bumper of his car while insulting the "front office morons." Seriously, what was he thinking? Why would they be happy with 40%? He must have thought that 15% growth statement was really smart. Here's a statement for your future years Reeves, "Hey buddy, got a quarter?&quo...
Outlaw, I did completely agree with you. My title of "relevance" referred to how useful the ARTICLE could be. To those that did not know much about the systems, I can see it being useful, but to those that frequent this site, I can see how it would be irrelevant. So therefore, I am in complete agreement with you especially when you say, "They really didn't state anything we don't know. So in some sense it's irrelevant what they say." I don't disagree with you now and I...
TheMart, I've tried to stay away from being pro one console and anti another (excluding the Wii) as best as possible. You continue though to try and put down the PS3 no matter what. You have no idea how good the PS3's blu-ray player will be. All we have is that it will play such discs. If it indeed it goes KAPUT, then you can post back and lecture me.
What's funnier is that you complain about the PS3's drive when it has more than the 360's, and little is known about how good t...
I think that the article served its purpose well in that it gave an unbiased view of the systems as it has many different analysts. I tend to think that the last one, though, made a very good point. I, too, think Sony will fare pretty well, but their mistake was giving two different models immediately. By showing the higher priced ones, it gives people a mindset of $600 compared to $400 for the xbox. Really, it is $500 compared to the $400 360, but many will not take the difference into c...
Short, sweet, and to the point is what your comment was. I'm for Sony, but perhaps a smaller Sony lead is what gamers need. Perhaps the competition will give them more motivation to provide not only better pricing but better games, hardware, and online play. Man, it's such a great time to be a gamer...
What seems really interesting about this game, aside from its graphics and gameplay as shown in real time at E3, is the storyline. The creators have me hooked and waiting to know the details of what is to happen in the game. I think that this is one of the distinguishing attributes Resistance has in comparison to WWII games and SOME other FPS.
I don't see anything interesting about this game. I think I would do one race, put it down and just be glad that I would never play it again. Granted, the video quality certainly did not aid the graphics, but the game-play itself looked pretty weak. I simply do not know who would find this entertaining, especially entertaining enough to spend around $60. I think all PS3 fans like me should look to other games like Resistance (as achira stated earlier) and Assassin's Creed.
Kouji Okada is founder and president of Gaia, who released Jewel Summoner on PSP this January and is also the creator of the now-legendary Megami Tensei series of RPGs. He says the biggest surprise of E3 was "definitely the price of the PS3. As a Blu-Ray player it's cheap; as a game console, it's expensive. You might enjoy the games you get, though really. Is it a 'game machine' or an 'entertainment machine'? Then there's the Wii. The games are playable and sharp. They're friendly, thoug...
"Set aside your potty humor for a sec (Nintendo's Wii wins "Best Hardware"? Too easy...)"
I'm sorry but I can't set it aside. Hardware is exactly what the Wii doesn't have! It has innovation and attracts non-gamers because it looks fun. That doesn't mean though that the hardware is better than the PS3's or the 360's. What a joke. Everyone says the PS3 and 360 are just specs in comparison to the Wii. And somehow, they manage to give the specs award to nei...
Has anyone else been able to get the PS3 RSS feed able to work? The 360 one works (so I know it's not my web clips), but not the PS3.
